South Peace Arts Society (The Dawson Creek Art Gallery)
The Dawson Creek Art Gallery is a public gallery dedicated to the presentation, interpretation and advancement of the Visual Arts. Housed in a restored grain elevator. The Art Gallery is managed by the South Peace Art Society and therefore is an artist run gallery. The Artisan Galleria features work from local and regional artisans, making it a shop local destination. It was the first gallery in northern BC and in 2014 received an award for BC’s Best Building (in Northern BC) from the Architecture Foundation of BC. Located in the NAR Park, it has become a well sought after tourist destination.
