The Regional Juried Art Exhibition is a program of the Peace Liard Regional Arts Council in partnership with a host community arts council on a revolving basis from communities in the Peace Region: Dawson Creek, Fort St John, Chetwynd, Tumbler Ridge, Hudson’s Hope and Fort Nelson.
The Peace Liard Regional Arts Council works closely with the hosting community arts councils and their volunteers to provide assistance and consistency of this program making it a very successful. This event gives each arts council an opportunity to showcase the arts in their community on a regional level, it also provides an opportunity for artists from each region to gain exposure. This exhibit is open to new and established artists in the Peace Liard region, giving everyone an opportunity of having their artwork in a Juried Show.
The 35th Annual Regional Juried Art Exhibition will take place at the Dawson Creek Art Gallery (101- 816 Alaska Ave) June 2 – 26, 2017. The Opening Reception is Friday, June 2nd at 7 pm, the Opening Reception is sponsored by the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie and the City of Dawson Creek.

Judging: Friday, June 2nd from 10am – 4pm
Opening Reception: Friday, June 2nd from 7-9pm
Saturday, June 3rd – Artists’ Walk Through from 10am-12pm
The exhibit will be on display until June 26, 2017.
