Dawson Creek Choral Society

The Dawson Creek Choral Society Dawson Creek Choral Society is a non-profit organization that is based in the Calvin Kruk Centre KPAC) for the Arts (10401 – 10th Street, Dawson Creek).

Offering regular music programming for children, youth, and adult members in Dawson Creek and surrounding area. Such programming involves weekly choir rehearsals and public performances, participation in local and regional arts and music festivals, and a musical theatre program. Despite being a new organization, DCCS actively participates in community events by both performing and encouraging volunteerism, and seeks continual growth in partnerships with other community organizations.

Programs:
Children’s Chorus (grades 2-7 at 3:30-4:30)
Youth Show Choir (grades 7-12 at 4:45-6:15)
Community Singers (ages 16+ at 7:00-8:30)

Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays at the Calvin Kruk Centre for the Arts (KPAC). Season runs from September to May.

The DCCS administrative board meets bi-monthly to oversee all choir activities.
