BC Arts & Culture Week

Since its inception in 1999, the arts council promotes and organizes events for the BC Arts and Culture Week, which is held in April every year.

Here are some events being held in our community…

April 22- May 4 - Mile “0” Quilt Guild will have their quilts  on display at the library.

April 27- Quilt appraiser, Donna Hunt, will be speaking at the Lutheran Church at 7pm. $5 admission. Contact Bev for more details 782– 5795.  Presented by the Piecemakers Quilt Guild.

April 27A Night of Poetry at Sweetwater905 in Alberts Loft starting at 7pm. Featuring guest poets: Marilyn Belak, Cassidy Brown, Christy Jordan, Donna Kane (MC), Sabrina L’Heureux, Ruth Hill, Jeannie Lindgren, Dean Mattson, Rebekah Rempel, Dawn Service, Jayden Stafford and Dean Velkjar. Admission is free. Cash bar will be available and refreshments will be served. Sweetwater905 is located north on 17th st (Road 219) turn right onto Sweetwater Road go 4kms watch for road marker “Sweetwater905″ home of the Mattson Family. 

 April 28 -  Open Mic at Sweetwater905 in Alberts Loft starting at 7pm. Featured performer is Folky Strum Strum. Admission by donation..

 April 29 – The Mile “0″ Quilt Guild are hosting a quilt show from 1-4pm at KPAC. Admission is $4. Strawberry shortcake and coffee or tea will be served with admission price.
